According to records, Woodlands Victorian Guest House is
believed to have been built in 1889 and bought by a master mariner
Mr Charles Blake. Blakes family owned it until 1947 when
it was sold and converted to it's present use as a guest house.
More recently Woodlands has undergone substantial renovation and
inclusion of en-suite facilities, even so the best features of it's
original character and relaxed homely atmosphere have been preserved.
Woodlands Guest House, offer colour TV in all bedrooms, Tea/Coffee
making facilities, mini fridges, to keep your drinks cold. All bedrooms
offer en-suite facilities, we are very near to the town, harbour,
restaurants and pubs.
