| Brixham is a place you won't forget! Tiers of charming
Fishermen Cottages, Inns and shops surround it's picturesque harbour.
This initimate, yet busy fishing port gives it a character that
sets it apart, where pride in fishing has created a strong sense
of community that can be seen in the closley packed houses and narrow
timeless streets.
Brixham has played a significant role in English History. It was
here that William, Prince of Orange, arrived from Holland in 1688,
with his army for the bloodless invasion that was to see him crowned
King of England.
But Brixham is more than fishing and history. On both sides of
town, you will find beautiful sandy and pebble beaches, cliff walks,
and many places of interest to visit.
Brixham is very dogfriendly! You can walk on Berry Head and its
coastal path for miles, or visit Battery Gardens overlooking the
bay and Fishcombe Cove where dogs are allowed and can have a swim!
Brixhams many pubs and restaurants allows dogs, and theres plenty
to choose from, but here's just a few suggestions;
